You definately want to at least email about shipping. I
emailed a seller recently before placing my bid to ask
how much shipping would be (not stated on the auction
anyplace), and how he packaged. He was going to put the
4 cels into a padded envelope and send them that way...
with nothing to protect the cels other then that. Ugh! Well,
after telling him I don't mind paying for a box and packing
materials, we worked it out. 6.00 for overseas shipping is
pretty inexpensive, although it also depends on how it's
shipped - EMS, etc. 

As others have suggested, research why someone left this
seller negative feedback. Lots of times, misunderstandings
happen, and negatives are left by people before they try and
resolve issues through email, and once it's left ebay is not
likely to remove it.
