Hello

I personally don't see the point of removing the staples. I 
have some Ranma cels with stapled BGs and Layers that are in
perfect condition. That series is what, 10 years old?? If 
they haven't caused any problem in that long I doubt they 
will anytime soon. So you can have a complete set up with 
everything together or you can have a complete setup with a
holes in it. I guess it is your personal preference, I just 
don't want to take the time to remove them since it isn't
of any value to me.

Tape can be annoying, be carefull if it is really stuck that
you don't rip the acetate trying to pull it apart. I use 
100% Mineral Spirits (can be purchased at local art store)
for all types of paint/residue removal on my cels. It works
good and is more natural then rubbing alchahol.
