For some reason I never see much side of the cons 
on making a gallery. ^^; From the 8 months that I 
began collecting, I've only recieved one request 
to buy and one request to trade. I'm not annoying 
by the requests, you never know which one may turn 
out for the best.

As for image stealing I could care less. It's 
something that's been going on since the beginning 
of the internet (I've had whole pages ripped off 
before, blah blah) and it is upsetting, but 
there's not a whole lot on can do besides perhaps 
mark your images. Even then people can remove them 
with paint programs. 

Your cel gallery won't be in any much more danger 
than that of a cel dealer, so I figure why fight 
it, and join in the fun of showing your own pride 
and joy of a collection to others to share.
