It seems to me that begging for specific cels is likely to be only rarely successful. On the few occasions that anyone has bothered begging for a cel I bought, I've been happy to satisfy their curiosity about what happened to it, but I haven't parted with the cel. To actually get a cel away from someone who bought it to keep, I don't think begging and attack by guilt rays are enough. :-) You'd have to offer them something (in money or cels) that they want more than the cel in question. Whether begging on the forum is effective at getting people to think of you when selling other cels of a certain character or show, I don't know. I'm always tempted to chime in on Kenshin and Utena begging threads, just in case, but I'm afraid it might just annoy people instead. Has anyone out there ever been offered a cel because they begged for a different one on the forum? --Atiya |
