I hope this doesn't start a trend. It sure is unusual for a dealer to sell dougas from a series unless the cels are not available or are too expensive for most people. (Gengas are a different matter.) I can see this for Nadia and the Miyazaki works, but Dragonball and Sailormoon? I don't think we will ever see a pencil sketch sold for as much as the matching cel. Dougas (pencil sketches) are not valued as much as the cel. That's why, if you are trying to separate a pencil sketch from the cel, you are told to save the cel even if you have to tear up the sketch. ---Trebuchet |
