When I first get a cel I'll admire it for awhile. If it came with a stuck pencil sketch (or is stuck to anything actually)
the evil seperation monster will get ahold of me and I'll try to free the cel. (^_^)' Afterwards I'll find a place for the
cel in my cel book, which usually means a game of musical chairs for said cels. I'll usually flip through my cel book
whenever my eyes falls across it. Then I'll send a long, boring e-mail to a fellow collector describing the cel detail by detail (even though they would've seen the scan already) Unfortunately, I don't have a good image editting
program at the moment so scanning and adding cels to my website is out the question at the moment.
The most I've spent on a cel was around $250 for my evil Tamahome cel. :)~ I'm going to be buried with that cel.
And yes, Fushigu Yuugi cel prices were quite expensive at the time. (^_^)' I'm currently saving up for this awsome
She-ra/Swiftwind cel (so its not anime ;p~) which will be around the same price. There's also a purple Kotori cel
from X and a St. Seiya cel at Mangaya's that I'm considering that are both over $200.
After the evil Tamahome cel I've got several cels that were over $100... a couple Prince Endymion cels from Sailor
Moon, a Daryoon/Darun cel from Heroic Legend of Arslan (anyone have a good Narcus cel?), and a few others. |
