Hi there! I display my cels with cel books and framing. For framing the cels, I would usually frame my favorites, but I prefer to keep the pencil sketches hidden. For best protection on the cels, I like to mount the cels, using acid free acetate bought at local gallery stores (sometimes they don't have any, and you have to ask them to order it for you). That way, you can mount the cel to acetate, and keep it free from tape marks, especially cels that has high value. If it's a complete pencil sketch, you might want to consider mounting side by side with your cel. I prefer to keep the background of my cels white. Any colored paper for backgrounds, and even sometimes black paper for backgrounds makes it look cheesy and inauthentic to me (depends on personal taste). I like to group my cels by each series, and in each series, I always put my most favorite ones first in line *hee hee*. If you do have a lot of cels, maybe you should consider putting more of them in cel books. They have cel books for both regular and oversized cels being sold here and there. Hope that helps, Carol |
