A lot of digital animation out there is done to look like cel
animation. Take the Tales of Phantasia for PS opening anime.
It looks like top of the line cel-anime, but it was done
entirely on computer by Production IG.
Another reason cels will probably go out:
Fuji film stopped making them, so companies are forced to
import cels, raising costs and adding to the incentive to go
