I always like to get backgrounds with my cels but only if they are the _matching_ production background. I'm not as interested in copy backgrounds, mismatched backgrounds, or nonproduction backgrounds (those just tend to get on my nerves for I don't like the idea of the things _and_ they tend to artificially drive up prices.) If I see backgrounds I recognize without cels, I also like to get them (for maybe someday I can match them up with the cel... and, backgrounds often remind me of the series as well.) Still, I think I'd pick a character over scenery, and often the mark-up on backgrounded cels is too high in my opinion (especially for simple backgrounds.) Keys Would love some Violinist of Hameln backgrounds... |
