Speaking of "dpi" for a picture displayed on a screen is totaly meaning less ! How do you want to measure the number of "dots per inch" when the size of the dots change depending of the size/resolution of a screen. This is a unit for printing. Measure for a picture displayed on a screen is in number of pixel. Common resolutions for a full screen are : 640x480 pixel 800x600 pixel 1024x768 pixel You probably don't want to use picture that need more than the 800x600 resolution as most people won't be able to display them fully on the screen. |
