If it is a one day trip, bring cash or a debit
card. You can use a credit card. Bring the
address, phone number, etc.

Tell the person at the counter you want to send a
International Postal Money Order to Japan. They
need to know this FIRST. The country is important
so that you get the right money order. Yes, it is
pink in color. They may look confused, but you
are right.

It costs roughly 3.25 for one. They do not do a
YEN conversion at the post office, that is done
when it is cashed. If the value is over 700 or
750 (I cannot remember which) you will have to
buy two. The second one is a discounted price.

Fill out all the information. When sending, I
would suggest using the SMALL global priority
envelop. It costs about 4 or 5 bucks to send. It
is quicker, and safer. You can send it register,
but that costs close to $10. Regular airmail
costs about 80 cents to 1 dollar.

When filling out all documents write clearly and
PRINT. Mostly likely you are writing in English,
and that is not the primary language over there,
so be cureous. Sorry about that run-on sentence.

You can buy the postage while getting the money
order, or after you filled it out.

It really is simple process, the first time just
seems confusing.

If you have anymore questions, you can post them
or e-mail me if you want my help.

Em
