I did fancels once, and I liked the result, but:

1. Some ppl get mad about a screencap being 
reproduced which they happen to have the cel of 
and go draggin you through the mud. "I own the 
cel, I own the creencap!"
2. It doesn't make your back, neck and spine any 
happy.
3. It's ever so time consuming.

Also, it's just that feel of owning THE 
original, made by THE staff, used in THAT 
moment... If I have fancels made, then it's just 
for the pretty image, but an original only 
represents content, history, scene,...
Like, I can ge myself some German Shepherd dog 
and love him, but I sill wouldn't own Rin Tin 
Tin himself. Same for actors: I can get myself a 
boyfriend looking like that actor, but that's 
not the real thing, it's not Orlando Bloom (and 
thank God).
