    from the opposite perspective, I'm sure 
you've seen my DHY collection by now and I 
haven't ever received correspondence from you. 
there's your answer - most people just lurk 
unless they have some business with you, i.e. cel 
offers. if your goal is to get to know other 
collectors, why don't you take the initiative 
yourself and email others? your situation is like 
a girl expecting her boyfriend to automatically 
know to send her roses on the second date(which 
we women KNOW men aren't all programmed to do).
