That is such a good question that I would like
answered as well! >.< I've been adamently
searching (hoping) for some gorgeous cels from
this *awesome* series for awhile now (ever since
I saw it - damn, it's such a morbid, thoughtfully
dark show!) and always come up dry.

Even on Japanese auctions and dealers you can't
find too many, and if you do, they're not that
high quality (or what I consider to be - they're
usually small images askew on the cel with no
background and what-have-you). Mostly I've only
seen the same sequence of Casca, and a lot of
Carcus (Corkus). Never anything breathtaking,
sadly. ;_;

Mandarake LA has two REALLY nice ones of Guts
(one of him in his teenager years, when he first
comes across the Hawks) and both Anime Asylum and
Animegame have a handful which are nice, both
sporting pans last I was there. Dunno if you'd be
interested.

Unfortunately, though, a lot of the ones I saw
had extensive line damage; I was gonna get the
full set of Griffith and Charlotte-hime from
Mandarake, but for the price they were asking, it
wasn't worth it when Charlotte's lines were so
faded, she practically had NO facial features at
all! O_o

I was wondering if maybe they're never for sale
because they were so ill-treated, since a lot are
so faded and worn. *shrugs*

Like you, I've been wondering, wuzz'up? No one
really seems to know anything for certain though,
and no one I asked are able to get ahold of any.
It seems really weird since "Berserk" spawned a
huge amount of merchandise and goodies (Zippo
lighters, for Pete's sake! ^_^)

Seems fitting for us cel collectors that the OP
theme for "Berserk" is entitled 'Tell Me Why' And
just the same, the ending theme pretty much sums
up the rest: 'Waiting So Long' =P

who just wants some pretty, pretty Griffith cels!
