Heh, this cel of Miroku recovering from a wound 
after saving Sango in ep. 28 (I think), is tied 
with another Inuyasha cel as the most expensive I 
own to date.  Now, why is Miroku so expensive?

1). Miroku is hard to find, especially a high-
quality image that shows his eye-color.  Although 
Inuyasha himself is a highly sought character, 
perhaps more so than Miroku, cels of him are MUCH 
easier to find, even nice ones with backgrounds.  
Case in point: I just won a sweet Inu close-up, 
with background, taking up the whole cel, for 
about $90 on YJ without ANY competition.  When a 
similar cel of Miroku from the below sequence 
without a background appeared on YJ, it went for 
more than 2 times what I paid for Inuyasha.

2). Miroku is most people's next fav chara after 
Inu or Sesshoumaru.  Therefore, he's highly in 
demand, and his character rocks (he's definitely 
my fav in the series).  He seems to have his own 
growing fan club as the series progresses, which 
makes great cels of him even harder to find.  

3). He's so adorable, intelligent, and his total 
devotion to Sango is so obvious and sweet... Who 
couldn't love this guy?  ^_^

(admittedly, Miroku is the second most expensive 
character to get A-level cels of behind Fluffy-
sama.  However, I can't afford Fluffy-sama, nor 
am I totally obsessed with the character, so in 
my Inuyasha cel collection, Miroku is by far the 
most expensive and difficult to find).
