He/she owns a ton of high-quality cels (A-grade
AMG, Nadesico, etc.) but has absolute disdain
for the pencil sketches.
So when he/she finds a cel stuck to the sketch,
he/she simply tears off the sketch--with no cold
or water preparation to make it come off
safely. If the sketch is really stuck,
he/she'll still tear it off (even if it means
that some the paint is lost to the sketch) no
matter what the risk. In another case, he/she
folded and wrinkled the sketch until it looked
like newspaper in a recycle bin while in the
obvious attempt to remove the sketch.
How do I know? I bought such kind of cels from
him/her in the past without knowing.
In addition, I saw him/her shuffling and tossing
around his/her absolute top-grade cels at a
convention one year like a deck of worn-out
playing cards.
It's scary to think how people with a bit too
much money can act sometimes... Sure, they can
do what they want with their own property but
sometimes it's a darn shame (especially when
they sell some of their stuff to other
collectors). |
