Given my comments, I do not want my 
statements to be misunderstood. I like 
Mandarake and I have found great deals there 
as any one who has come to Japan and has 
gone cel hunting will tell you. 

Sometimes they have staff problems. They 
sometimes make mistakes just like any 
human beings do. Sometimes, they make 
mistakes that have been to my benefit and 
sometimes they make mistakes and then 
readjust their prices (hehe). Sometimes the 
staff is just ignorant of anime. Yes, Japanese 
staff!!

 Sometimes the prices are way to low (yeah!!!) 
and sometimes ridiculously high(boooo!! jeer, 
whistle!). They are not doing this on purpose, 
just following the mysterious chain of 
command manual for working protocol. They 
personally could give a dam`n, since it is 
mostly little over minimum wage job.

It is like going to a professional "Swap Meet" 
or "Flea Market" when dealing with them. So, it 
is not always cut and dry. I have been able to 
bargain with them face to face. They have a 
staff mainly filled with part-time college 
students and young people. Some very keen 
and have insight, some might as well be 
working at a fast-food restaurant. 

So, there is some "balance issues"and things 
don`t always go perfectly, but I forgive them!! 
They have great stuff! And more than not I have 
no complaints but praise for the organization , 
especially in regards to prices and anime in 
general or specifically when talking about 
cels. And they are usually polite and as helpful 
as they can be.
