Tough question. . . (Tue Dec 3 03:49:45 2002 )

At least for me, it depends on what exactly is
being relisted. We've all made fun of the cels on
Yahoo Japan of someone's armpit (or somesuch ^_^;)
which are given a huge starting bid, then relisted
until doomsday. There are just some things it
should be OBVIOUS no one will buy -- at least not
for the price being asked. ^_~~

(Quote, Drac to a friend: "Yes, 4000yen is insane.
But the sad thing is, not only can I recognize
that is Youko Kurama's ear, but it's probably also
the only cel of him I could afford." ^_~~~)

On the other hand, sometimes I see something I DO
want, but unlike some Ebayers, I won't bid if I
can't send payment immediately. So I'll happily
watch the item end without bids and hope for it
to be relisted. Just recently, there was a cel I
wanted that was put back up for auction again.
I'd watched it listed two or three times in a row
with no bids and didn't have the immediate funds
to bid for it myself. But now I have a little bit
of funding. It was relisted and I pounced -- VERY
HAPPY to see it listed again!

I know it's a bummer for the seller to list
things multiple times. . . But then, this really
*is* a bad time to be trying to sell too. . . o_0

Many Sharp Smiles,
--Drac (home again!)
