It's a tight market out there these days.
Hopefully things will look up after February.
Unless you have sure-fire sellers, it's probably
best to wait on auctioning cels off.
Yes, I am one of those who can believe that the
attractiveness of a cel declines the more I see
it on auction. However, I am more of the
opinion that the price (rather than the cel) is
not attractive and may hope that the seller will
eventually lower the starting price (after
closing their auctions enough times without a
winner) to finally make bidding worthwhile.
Finally, as a seller who sometimes finds himself
in the same position, my advice is just to be
patient. You should post the cels in areas
where those who are not regulars on this board
might visit. A web site is ideal; or you might
even reconsider reposting the auctions (the
people who scan auction sites can vary week to
week). It's all about exposure; the more and
longer your cels are out there, the better the
chances that elusive buyers you know are out
there will eventually find your cels.
PS - Lower prices never hurts, either, although
that does affect the amount of money you want to
generate. |
