That is absurd.  I've seen your artwork, and your 
sketchings are amazing.  I've never seen your 
portfolio, but I'm sure it's fabulous.  I think 
if you're portfolio is as good as I think it is, 
you shouldn't have any problems getting in.  
Perhaps if you have any other art teachers, you 
can have them varify your level of performance 
for colleges.  That is seriously a load of crap 
for the teacher to have said that to you, and to 
the interviewer, and you need to confront her and 
tell her how much of an incredibly unqualified 
teacher she is.
