I hate edited stuff (and will concur that I won't 
watched "edited for TV" movies---ARRRGH!), but if 
I subscribed to the complete ban of edited shows, 
I never would have discovered some great series.  
Tenchi being a perfect example.  I'm glad I saw 
enough of it on CN to fall in love with the 
characters and want to see the full, unedited 
series.  :-)

If you REALLY want to open a can of editing worms, 
ask people about their Battle of the 
Planets/G-Force/Gatchaman preference.  LOL!!!  I 
grew up on BotP, which is ****THE**** most 
horrible anime edit you will ever see.  Yet I 
became so fond of it that I can't even watch the 
other versions.  ouch
