I feel your pain!  There was one auction in 
particular I was banking on winning, and I just 
didn't think that I would be outbid.  I somehow 
underestimated the popularity of the series, and 
I was careless with choosing a max  *grrr!*
Anyhow, to this day I get to see my,  um I mean, 
that cel in another's gallery...

Cres had some encouraging thoughts on the topic!  
^__^  I have a little more faith in cels 
eventually resurfacing than I used to.  Some cels 
I wanted in other peoples' galleries eventually 
turned up (or ones just like them in the same 
scene).  I just hope this trend continues, since 
I'm still dreaming of a few more of them...
