thank you so much for your post.  i am just 
really worried because my sister is very attached 
to the dog, and it's being only 8 months old it 
really hasn't had a chance at life yet.  i feel 
angry, too, to think that someone could hit a 
poor defenseless animal and then just leave it 
there in the road, not letting anyone else know 
it's hurt.  we live in such a small community 
that anyone who would have been coming up our 
road would have known it was our dog and should 
have told us, but i guess people will show you 
who they really are by their actions.  thanks
