This from the guy with no more room on his walls 
to put framed cels or horizontal space anywhere 
in the house to put DVDs or figures... ("dolls" 
to the rest of us).

not to mention the multitude of stuffed anime 
creatures he's sent to my kids over the past 3 
years ("I have to make sure they're being raised 
properly!")

Would I collect cels if I had it to do over 
again? Damn straight!  I can't possibly tell you 
why, either.  Probably the "it's fun!" is as 
close as I can get :-)

[Besides...it's the first time since childhood 
that I've been able to buy toys for myself 
without looking stoopid. "It's art! They're one 
of a kind collector's items!"  Suuuure.  They're 
FUN.]
