No bidding wars on this one, but it did first 
come to my attention on eBay a good year before 
it fell into my hands. It sold for entirely too 
high. (Still on Cartoon Network, this is when 
Gundam Wing insanity was at its pique) A few 
months later, it popped up back on ebay and again 
the price sky-rocketed, but low and behold, it 
was an unmarked fancel. After getting in contact 
with the owner of the original just to make 
sure the cel on eBay was in fact false, 
she told me it was available and offered it to 
me. I was, needless to say, pretty shocked. I 
made the offer, it was accepted and I was about 
to log into Paypal when I was told another person 
had given her a higher offer. :( A few months 
later, I was contacted again to say the other 
collector had bailed out of the deal and that she 
wanted to sell the piece to me. 

*Catches breath* WHEW! 

So after a year had passed and after all the 
times this cel was dangled in front of me but 
kept just out of my reach, it finally made it's 
way into my cel book:
