Yeah, one of my old roommates had a beta that
lived for five years! When Thalin (named after
her D&D dwarf...and by default the more famous
one...) finally left for the big fishtank in the
sky we had a funeral and floated him down the
creek.
But as for a pet of mine, my baby Mainard
weighed 28 pounds of pure alley cat muscle. He
wasn't fat, just HUGE. He was sweet some of the
time but a bastard the rest, which can be scary
when the cat can knock you over (I still have
the scars...). He was the scourge of the
neighborhood and the undisputed king of our
house. He would even refuse to eat his breakfast
unless someone was standing behind him petting
him!
Too bad it turned out that he was cranky because
of diabetes :( I gave that cat three shots a
day for almost a year but a year ago we had to
have him put to sleep.
So here's a cel for my dear departed kitty
Mainard. He's pretty, regal, dangerous, mean as
hell and-most importantly-FLUFFY!!!
(I would have posted one for my guinea piggies
too but I don't have any cute enough!) |
