Well, since you're fishing for suggestions, perhaps keeper of soles
would be a betta choice.

I used to have bettas, a half dozen constantly-displaying males in a 
special betta tank. Had another tank used for mating, though it
was almost totally useless - the parents ate all but one of their kids.
