Okay, just a discussion.. keep those boxers 
tied down. No bunching please :-) 

  I am biased. I plainly admit it. I mainly only 
want to collect female character cels-- now. But 
only a few :good: anime offer them cheaply. 

  On the other hand, do you think that it seems 
that except for a few anime, male character cels 
are always cheaper in general?

 Of course DBZ, being a big exception 
(Trigun/Kenshin/FY) for that matter. But, I know 
that there a lot of female cel collectors out 
there and they like the same popular male 
characters, and maybe even more than male 
collectors in the US (?) So why don't they suffer 
the same price spiral fate arcoss the board? 

I know that they have peaks and valleys during 
rush times.. but Beldandy, Mononoke Hime, Gally, 
Deedlit, Peroth, etc., etc,. these cels seem to 
never go down! 

  I am curious. What do you think? Do you think 
that my observations are off base?

I think possibly that the "Japanese Otaku" set 
the standard, pace, or whatever for prices and 
that it just carries over to everywhere else. Or 
it could be that actually there are more male 
collectors fighting for the same cels. I dunno.. 
It's getting complicated..
