Because when my old computer was at the end of 
it's life, it kept dropping my connection. This 
was solved by merely rebooting the computer, but 
it's still a pain in the butt. . . Not to mention 
impossibly inconvenient when it decides to give 
out 60seconds before the close of an auction I'm 
bidding on. (*seethe*) We thought it was some 
problem with the computer itself due to age.

This new computer has been fine for a while, but 
now it's started the same dropping the connection 
and needing to be rebooted to connect again -- 
sometimes two or three times a day. I know it's 
nothing that *I'VE* put on it. We've contacted 
our internet provider to confirm it's nothing on 
their end. (Actually, my husband's laptop is on 
the same connection and is completely uneffected 
by this.) My husband is a programmer and we've 
gone over everything on this thing with a fine 
tooth comb. The only thing I can think of anymore 
is that it's something off this Forum. . .

Incidentally, I would ALSO happily accept paying 
a small fee to have an ad-free, spyware-free 
Animanga. I already would have LONG AGO stopped 
coming here if I didn't have a pop-up blocker. . .
