Thanks, yaten.  I never thought of just painting 
one myself.  (Duuuuuhh! #__# )  And it would be 
pretty easy to do for many of mine -- I have 
been gathering mostly G Gundam cels and most of 
the backgrounds of the fight scenes anyway are 
just streaks of color. (I need to broaden my 
taste in anime -- I keep looking at so many 
beautiful cels here from shows I've never seen.  
I don't want to love too many shows, though... 
I'll be SO broke from buying cels if I like more 
than 5 or 6 shows!  :)

I will look into Photoshop, too.  I used 
CorelDraw at work for many years, but I don't 
have access to it anymore.  One dumb question... 
what program do you use to do screen caps?  Any 
of the programs I use to watch DVDs or VCDs on 
my computer won't allow me to pause and 
print/save an image.  I'm probably overlooking 
something very basic -- or I'm just using 
oddball software.
