I didn't plan to be organized in advance, but. . . (Wed Nov 12 00:31:48 2003 )

First, LOL to sensei. ^_^

As far as my organization goes, I'm anal about
putting things in order. In regards to cel
collecting, this is a godsent trait, because I
now have somewhere in the neighborhood of 30
books. . . and I can flip directly to ANYTHING in
less than a minute.

From the beginning, the overall order I picked
for my cels was alphabetical by series. Series I
don't collect from heavily are usually ordered
with my favorites or main collecting intersts
first. Series for which I have a larger number of
cels have a definite sub-organization. This can
be arranged by character, episode, or physical
characteristics of the cels. Extremely large
series have two levels of sub-organization. (For
example, Psychic Force is by character, then by
order of appearance within character.)

But this is NOT easy to upkeep. I spend a long
time reorganizing when I get new cels. I leave
"holes" (empty pages) for new cels but it still
takes a long time. However, I *enjoy* playing
with my cels like this -- it's one more excuse to
stare at them all. But it's still problematic
when I don't have time to put away new cels. I've
been working 50-60 hours a week for the past two
months, and so everything I've gotten in that
time is still waiting to be put away. ~_~;

Many Sharp Smiles,
