I'd keep #1.  It has better "flow" - the 
position, the angle, even the face are more 
dynamic.  You "feel" motion.  #2 is very static, 
not to mention that killer of composition, 
symmetric.  Also #1 has the seat the straps are 
connected to. #2 is sort of floating in air.

#1 also has a better facial expression - 
determined, and actually somehow *looks more* 
like Duo.  #2 - looks like the poster boy for the 
Marty Feldman Memorial Have Your Hyperactive 
Thyroid Checked Today Festival. Not to mention 
the absolutely symmetrical highlights on the 
faceplate that make them look like blinders, not 
reflections, and further tighten the face area.
