Not that I have any cels someone could accuse me 
of overpaying for (none of them are that nice 
>_<) but I get rude mail about stupid things 
sometimes and usually I either:

A) Ignore them and do what you did: post a 
message about them where people can discuss it 
and/or make fun of their lack of tact (although 
I usually include their name for extra kicks)

or 

B)  Write them a warm letter cordially thanking 
them for taking time out of what is obviously a 
very busy and emotionally fullfilling life to 
point out my little inadequacies and wrap up the 
letter by subtly implying certain sexual or 
mental disfunctions or possibly questioning 
their parentage.

It's really your choice.  Either way it makes 
life a little more interesting! ^_^
