Well this person's name is Troy and goes by
Ohjiro-San (for some reason I thought this
person's name was Tiffany and a girl). Has
anyone ever heard of this person??
My letter to them:
>Hello,
>I'd like you to know that you are using my Cels
>and layout sketches in your Production Cel
>galleries without my permission. I also know
>that a lot of the other cel images you have in
>those galleries are also used without the
>permission of the cel owner. Now, the cel owner
>does own the rights to those images, for they
>are the ones who has paid money for the cels and
>put the time and effort into scanning them for
>display in their own galleries. And just
>because a cel image is on the internet, does not
>give anyone the right to take them from the
>owner's gallery without their permission.
>I ask that you take down all the cel images. If
>you would like to use them in the future, please
>contact the cel owner to ask for their
>permission. Now with my cels, I do not give you
>permission to display them in the future.
>Thanks for your cooperation!

Now I think I'm being very polite about the whole
thing. Here is what the response is:
>>I am sorry to hear this, but I haven't worked
>>on the website in about 2 months or so now. I
>>stopped the website, and I am not going to
>>spend my time to take them down because I don't
>>care about the website anymore. I am not going
>>to search for the celluloids in which you own,
>>and take them down. The site will be gone
>>whenever the hosting runs out, and that's when
>>they will go down. Also they are pictures.
>>People are aloud to use them. If you own
>>something you don't upload it to the internet
>>if you don't expect someone to use it. People
>>are always looking for images for stuff like
>>this, and they could care less who paid the
>>money for it. It is not like they are taking
>>the celluloid from you. If you have such a
>>problem with it... put text of your images or
>>don't upload them. I own celluloids of my own,
>>and I could care less if someone took the
>>images because I still have the celluloid, and
>>all they did was spread the artwork of a great
>>artist on the internet. If you are all uptight
>>about your celluloids, then maybe you shouldn't
>>put them on the internet, because they will be
>>taken off of it one way or another. Doesn't
>>matter if you put text on them or what. They
>>will be edited and put on other websites. Now
>>if you would please, I have more important
>>stuff to do than reply to such a stupid email.
I found his responds very rude. Am I wrong to
assume this??
