You insulted everyone who has a permanent 
disability by implying that you wouldn't want to 
be seen as one of them.

Perhaps this is because English is not your 
native language.  or maybe enlightened 
consideration for people who are doing their best 
in the world with less-than-full abilities isn't 
something you're familiar with.

Rent the crutches and suck it up for a day or 
two.  Or, even better since you're shy on cash, 
get a friend (you do have friends?) to take your 
packages to the post office for you.
