Hopefully, you used some form of CC or something
like Paypal.  If you did, then you can file a
claim through Paypal or with your CC company.  If
you sent a money order, then not all is lost.  You
can file a claim through Ebay's Insurance Program
(forgot the name at the moment, will check in a
few minutes).  It costs $25.00 service fee if they
win for you, but you should be able to get your
money back.  Be sure to keep all your e-mail
transactions and receipts to show that you did pay
for insurance and they did not provide it for you.
