I am *so* tired of seeing this crap from 
otherwise decent people. Obviously I'm not 
fussing at everyone here, as many have sent me 
emails offlist agreeing with me on previous 
discussions of this nature; they don't want to put 
up with the loudest of the "forum vultures" that 
disagree with my POV. If a person has a cel, (I 
don't care if it's for TWO MINUTES) and decides 
they don't want it, they CAN sell it!!!
I have, and I will again. Shun me if you need to, 
I'll laugh at you while I enjoy the excitement of 
the buyer of the cel, and the pleasing feeling 
that comes from getting a cel to a customer that 
will treasure it more than I did. People have 
myriad reasons for wanting or needing to sell a 
cel, and it's THEIR personal business!
It is their property, this witch-hunt baloney has 
got to stop. Feel free to sell your cel, Matt. It 
is YOUR cel. Don't let the spoiled and the "rotten 
grapes" crowd get you down. They are generally the 
ones that expect special treatment or reduced 
prices. They do not see the world realistically.
I am *SO* tired of the "cel welfare" crowd, with 
their "don't sell it if you just got it", "you're 
not legitimate if you sold it fast, it means you 
didn't love it", "don't sell it above what a 
highschool McDonald's employee can pay", etc, etc 
crap. You people are going to have to face the 
real world. Cels are a valued item, and people are 
going to buy and sell, and they don't have to 
follow anyone's little "community clique" rules. 
ANYONE has a right to sell a cel, and it's not 
just "your favorite dealers that feel more 
legitimate to you for some mystical unrealistic 
reason". Just so the seller is within the law of 
his land selling the cel (and last I heard, 
selling your personal property is legal in most 
places)they may feel free. Do you think your 
favorite sellers are the ONLY seller after the 
studio had ther cels in their posession? They're 
not! Many times MANY other people have owned that 
cel before it got to that dealer, and I bet every 
one of them increased the price a tad to make a 
profit, and that is NOT wrong! It's capitalism! 
It's a free market! To those of you that are 
Americans, it helped make our country great! I 
also noticed the complainer was "anon"- I can see 
why you were- you SHOULD be embarrassed at trying 
your mob-like "hide in the shadows" pressure 
tactics.
Get over it, folks. It's his to sell.
