I know exactly which auction you are referring to.
I had a HUGE bid in on those cels, and I was at a
loss when they disappeared.
When the seller ended the original auction, they
did not amend their auction text to give any
details or reason for the abrupt cancellation
(such as damage to the items). In light of the
sudden reappearance and jacked-up price, they
simply must have decided that bids or no bids,
they no longer wanted to take the chance on those
cels going for too cheap.
I won several other auctions by this seller, but
their flaky behavior has left me wondering if they
will complete the transactions at all. :-(
The really ironic thing is that if they had simply
posted the auction originally at the inflated
price, I still might have considered bidding on
it. But after this horse-pucky, I won't touch
'em. They're all yours. ^_^
