There's one person on IRC who I chat with
occasionally. . . I've learned that when he says
I will like something, I'd better go watch it
because I will. He recommended Read or Die higher
than anything else, and there is no possible way
for me to disagree. NOBODY I have shown it to has
disliked it.
The only half-complaint I have about it is that
they seemed to wrap up the end too quickly - like
they were hurrying after taking a steady, good
pace with the first two of the three episodes.
But even that considered, I was wide eyed through
the whole thing. . . Damn to hell that I had to
see it first on this tiny computer screen - big
screen TVs were *made* for this kind of show.
Not to mention, that if my mother was a special
agent with supernatural powers, she WOULD BE the
Paper. ^___^ She's such a nut for books! ^_^
As soon as the domestic release hits the shelves,
I'm going to be right there, money held out to
the checkout clerk, for my copy. Hell, I'll most
likely buy the thing in advance if I can. ^_^
Many Sharp Smiles,
--Drac (who WILL find a genga of The Paper holding
her papers *^_^*)
