The recent talk on trying to talk a dealer down 
in price just reminded me of a question that I 
always thought of asking.  Anyone ever manage to 
get a dealer to sell a cel from their personal 
gallery?  

You've got to admit dealers who display their 
cels have some very impressive collections.  (In 
my experience, dealer = jaw-dropping gallery *g*) 
I always wondered what the chances were of 
succeeding in trying to offer large amounts of 
money to someone who probably already has large 
amounts of money for a cel.

Trades could probably work though it's hard to 
tell what dealers are interested in.  (I wonder 
why dealers with galleries don't have 
wishlists?)  But for someone who picks only 
certain cels like me, trades are sometimes like 
cutting off a limb.  =P

So what are your thoughts?
