   I've been encountering a similar problem. 
Paypal took out a dollar or something from my 
credit account, and I'm supposed to look on my 
statement and verify the four digits accompanying 
the heading next to the charge. however, the four 
verification digits are nowhere to be seen on my 
statement. so, how the hell do I confirm my card 
with them?
   what's the phone # I can call to complain?
