Get everything you can, as fast as you can. We're 
a "me" culture through and through. We are a 
culture of excesses...the richest, fatest people 
on the planet. 

Good..Bad...who knows. Some people argue for it: 
(Most of us would be) And some against: (an 
example would be a large part of the Middle East)

Tis in our nature to want more than the other 
guy. Even if there's no real purpose behind it 
than bragging rights or status.
