Thanks for redirecting me, but I ask here AND
I've asked over there as well, but there are more
readers here which might be willing to share some
information. I am not a "newbe" per se, but I am
considering asking a d.s. some questions, which I
believe as an informed customer I SHOULD ask.
Nicely and frequently, but ask all the same.
Which brings me to my second point, answering
questions from customers who will ask the d.s. to
place a bid is PART OF THEIR SERVICE and if it
isn't now, it should be. So what if the d.s. are
busy? Their business is mainly dependant on
customers who ask them to bid for them. IF they
cannot do this as part of their service, then I
for one would not want to use their service.
Afterall, what is stopping me from going to
another d.s. who is willing to provide the
service I need? There are numerous d.s. available
and one of them is probably more than willing to
do this type of a request. And lastly it's not as
if they aren't getting paid to do this. Yes they
are busy and time is money, but would they really
want a disgruntled and disappointed customer who
won an auction that the d.s. bid on for them,
simply b/c they didn't feel they could ask
questions? Geez. If thats the case these d.s.
could learn alot from Amazon about customer
service and granted Amazon isn't the best, but
they do make a sincere effort to help you and
answer all of your questions/concerns prior to
buying something and even after.
Lastly, on YJP there is a function just like the
the U.S. where you CAN ask the seller a question.
I for one do NOT think it's asking too much of a
d.s. to ask the seller for us (the customer) some
questions. We are afterall PAYING for this
service and what we are asking IS within reason
of the "service" they provide.
Call me a loon, but if its strictly bidding for
U.S. customers there are plenty of places that
are willing to charge and do that. If I were to
use one d.s. over another and return to them as a
customer its b/c they provide a service I for one
feel is superior to others. |
