I agree-my last bill killed me! (Sat Dec 22 15:36:51 2001 )

My bill for the last few months has been $100 or
a bit over that amount just in fees! And that is
only for like 8-17 (varies) items every once in a
while to sell-I sell other items besides anime
and a cel once in a while, and I quit this new
year unless I really had to sell something there.

Costs like if you have a hundred dollar item
something like almost three dollars to sell it,
then you pay when it gets sold! And their
customer service is lacking and when the little
guy gets stunned, they really are hard to get a
hold of to help-plus if someone left negative
feedback because they are snotty to the nice
seller or a lier, a seller's feedback is ruined.
They need to do something about that-I had to
start blocking bidders who give me a problem, but
that's only been one person, but the only way to
deal with it, because Ebay won't help.

And they keep on raising their prices and check
the forums, there are a LOT of unhappy people
because things don't work, Ebay doesn't protect
you and they are ripping you off.

It also is popular because they have actors and
famous people endorsing the site and everything,
that is how I found out about Ebay, but it really
does stink for fees. Don't see how anyone could
make any money off Ebay unless they bought whole
sale or something, but it is the only place to
get rid of something you don't want anymore or
sell it I say. And yes, it does drive up prices
when people bid like mad, but I try to put a buy
it now price for either less or the price I paid
for the cel or item and maybe "one" of the
reasons cel prices go up, but we would need a
financial person studying everything to say for
sure. *shrugs*

Still hate it, but no place else to go that
people will know about. Yahoo has a mini-bad rep.
for being more messed up and unworkable in the
past, maybe why not popular or if they had some
famous people endorsing or a better marketing
team or manager-or someone to bring that site to
the public's eye more, who knows?
