I agree with you 100% and I've overpaid on a few 
cels too (just because I wasn't aware of market 
prices for those cels). However, if collectors 
with deep pockets can keep paying outrageous 
prices for certain cels it hurts the rest of us. 
The dealers ask more and more since they know 
that the cels will sell for those prices. If I 
have an unlimited bank account then whatever I 
pay for a cel is what it is worth to me even if 
it is way more than what that cel is truly worth. 
High ended cels are expensive and thats life but 
an average so-so cel that is overpaid for 
consistently will raise the prices for other 
average cels and that market in all. Great for 
those who want to sell those cels, bad for those 
who want to purchase them.
