But I'm terrible at using it, so I don't use it 
often. However, when I tried to scan using 
Microsoft Image Composer, that just put up the 
same stupid scanning options (dialouge box) I get 
when trying to scan directly into Intel's Create 
and Share (my preferred scanning/image storage 
program). Thing is, these options now are 
*different* from the ones I saw in Create and 
Share before we installed this scanner.

I'm beginning to think the scanner software has 
somehow hijacked the other programs I have and 
set them to always use only what came with the 
scanner?? I will give Photoshop a try, though. . .

Slightly on topic - can anyone recommend a good 
tutorial book for someone who wants to get a 
useable level of Photoshop knowlegde without 
buying some huge 800 page monster manual?
