Which is why I said I would NOT recommend Rinkya
for inexpensive items. I doubt that the fee
structure will decrease over time because, not
only did it cost them alot to build this system,
it is also going to cost alot to maintain it.
Secondly, I totally respect others opinions that
my be different from mine. I completely agree
that Rinkya's fees are too high, and don't think
anyone should pay Upwards of $60 for and $8 item.
But I was just trying to explain the reasoning
behind it to those who may not understand why
they are so high.
Snotty comments such as "I'd rather buy Enron
Stock" are rather rude, offer no constructive
critisicm, and only serve to aggrivate the
awesome people who worked super hard to provide
this service! I just don't think it's very wise
to insult people for trying to do a super nice
thing for our little cel community. If a person
doesn't like the fees, then they can go
elsewhere. There are plenty of other cheaper
Deputy Services out there for small ticket
items. Rinkya is simply a service for customers
who want to be in total control of their bids,
and are willing to pay for that convenience. ^_^
Unfortunately the only way to avoid fees and
comissions is to make friends with someone in
Japan! *hehehehe* Maybe we should start
providing a "Yahoo Japan Bidding Buddy" service!
^_^ I think that might be more successful in the
long run!
So in summation, I didn't mean to step on any
toes.... I just didn't want this to turn into a
Rinkya bashing thread, so I thought I'd say some
kind words.
Thanks for listening!
