I think she would get MUCH higher prices/bids for
cels if there was a picture...
I've always been one of those people that
REFUSES to buy visually-valuable items (ie. cels,
paintings, drawings, sometimes posters if they're
rare images, etc) without seeing some sort of a
picture, whether or not the seller has wonderful
feedback.
Especially with cels: isn't part of the charm
knowing exactly what you love about the cel?
The quirkiness of the mouth? The way a certain
wisp of hair hangs? This is impossible to convey
without a picture... when essentially you're
BUYING the PICTURE...
Just my input... but I have a feeling that a lot
of other people feel the same way... =)

just investing in a scanner or digital camera...
if you have more than one or two cels to sell,
it would be worth it... last time I checked,
Kinkos charged $9.99 or something like that per
picture scan... ouch!) |
