This is a little long. Run while you still can!
I too never received payment for an auction. The
bidder waited two weeks, claiming there was an
family emergency. Fine. Sometimes things happen.
But then she claimed she had sent it on the third
week, which was a Friday. I never received the
payment. I emailed her again and she was very
rude and felt I was harassing her. I started the
final value credit process. Still nothing came.
I waited 6 1/2 weeks. No way was I going to let
her sucker me into the "60 day. Got a problem?
Too bad" policy of eBay. I requested credit and
BAMM! this eBayer was suspended!!! Two days
later, according to the postmark, she sent
payment and demanded I tell eBay that I received
payment! Heehee! Bet she was pissed when she got
the letter back "Return to Sender"! ^_^
Sometimes you have to put your foot down. I've
had the chance to give at least 15 neg feedback
and never did, fearing retaliation. But that
costs money.
Point being, don't waste too much time, but don't
jump either. One month. That's my new maximum and
they better have a damn good excuse for it being
so late.
p.s.- unrelated to topic but...is it just me or
are the newbie eBayers the quickest to give
negative feedback and the slowest to send
payment? No offense to any honest newcomers, this
is just my experience with them.
