Honestly, I don't know how much good it would do.
=/ His attitude towards people's mail in
general is so poor it makes me cringe. Leaving
letter mail on your porch?!?! Oh man... I don't
even like to leave an unattended package on a
porch... leaving letter mail on a porch like that
is horrendously irresponsible. :(
But leaving the package which was insured and
needing signature needs to be brought to the
postmasters attention. It's considered
an "accountable" piece of mail, and we're
*supposed* to have signatures on that pink/peach
colored slip (thats the 3849), so what I'd be
concerned with is this.... is he maybe signing
YOUR name as it being received??? Because when
we turn in our paperwork at the end of a shift,
we have to turn over the slips and our scanner
with the info on it... if they aren't signed for
we get chewed out. ;)
If you can ever catch him as he's delivering you
might try talking to him directly... its a whole
lot more effective than a note - trust me. :) I
remember things better when someone *speaks* to
me rather then a note in the box.
Still.. talking to the postmaster should be done -
this guy needs a talking to at least. :/ He's
not handling mail like we're trained.. and it
just makes me upset to hear of him mistreating
mail like this.. it's people like him that give
us all a bad name. ~_~ He won't get into a
*lot* of trouble ... unless he has done this in
the past. But he will be warned, which is very
much needed. :/ |
